Registration

For the steps to find an event and complete your purchase, see Buying tickets. This page describes the registration flow types (general, whitelist, direct links) and how they work.

Quicket supports different registration flows depending on how the organizer has set up the event.

For organizers: The registration flow your attendees see depends on Setup & Settings and Categories & Pricing: event-level options (e.g. whitelist, multi-category registration) and the per-category registration type (general, team, individual, donation, whitelisted, or seated). For a full mapping of settings to attendee experience, see Settings to Attendee Experience.

General registration

  • Events can be open for anyone to register: choose a category, enter your details, and complete payment (if applicable).
  • Some events support multi-category registration: you can add several ticket types in one go.
  • Required fields (name, email, etc.) are set by the organizer.

Whitelist registration

  • For whitelist-only events, you must request access first.
  • Submit your email (and any extra info the organizer asks for).
  • When the organizer approves your request, you’ll receive an email with a link to complete registration.
  • Only approved contacts can see the registration form and buy tickets.
  • Organizers can share a direct link to a specific ticket category.
  • Use that link to go straight to that category’s registration form without browsing the full event page.

Pre-registration

For events that are not yet live (registration opens later), you can pre-register to get early access or notifications:

  1. Go to the event page when it shows a pre-registration form.
  2. Enter your email (and any extra info the organizer asks for).
  3. Submit. You'll be added to the pre-registration list.
  4. When registration opens, the organizer may email you a link or early-access code.

Pre-registration does not guarantee a ticket — it puts you on the list to be notified when sales open.

Troubleshooting

  • "Event is not ongoing" — Registration may not have started yet or may have ended; check the event page for dates.
  • "Pre-registration only" — For some events you can only pre-register before sales open; you’ll be notified when registration goes live.
