Frequently Asked Questions
General
What is Quicket?
Quicket is an event ticketing and registration platform. Organizers use it to create events and sell or manage tickets; attendees use it to find events, register, and get passes.
Do I need an account to buy a ticket?
It depends on the event. Many events let you register with just your name and email. Some may require an account; the registration form will indicate what’s needed.
Registration and passes
I didn’t receive my pass.
Check your spam/junk folder for an email from Quicket. If it’s not there, look for a “Resend pass” or “View order” link on the event page, or contact support.
Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?
Only if the organizer has enabled transfers for that event. See Refunds and transfers and check the event page for the policy.
How do I get a refund?
Refund rules are set by the organizer. Use the link or instructions in your confirmation email, or the event page, to request a refund. See Refunds and transfers.
Organizers
How do I create an event?
Log in to the organizer dashboard and follow the 5-step wizard in Creating events: Basic info, Content, Tickets, Settings, and Review.
How long does approval take?
If your organization has Event auto approve on (a superuser-only setting), you can set the event to Approved yourself. Otherwise, the event stays in Pending approval until a platform superuser approves or rejects it. Contact support if you need a status update. See Event lifecycle.
How do I make my event go live?
After approval, the event becomes "scheduled." It goes live (registration opens) automatically when the registration start date you set in Setup is reached. See Event lifecycle.
How do I close registration?
Set a registration end date in Setup & Settings. After that date, new registration stops. The event remains "ongoing" until the event end date, when it is marked finished.
How do I process refunds or transfers?
Go to your event dashboard: Refund Management for refund requests, Transfers for ticket transfer requests. Approve or reject each request; approved refunds are processed according to your payment setup. See Finance.
Where do I see revenue and payouts?
In the event dashboard: Revenue Overview for sales and revenue, Payouts for payout history and status. See Finance.
How do I enable whitelist registration?
In the event Setup → Settings tab, turn on Whitelist only and set a Whitelist message. Then use Whitelist Requests in the sidebar to approve or reject requests. See Whitelist & Pre-registration.
What is whitelist registration?
Attendees request access first; you approve in the dashboard, then they get a link to register. See Registration (attendees) and Whitelist & Pre-registration (organizers).
